my goddaughter

Sometimes you fall in love when you least expect it! I've only spent about a week in total with this little person in her life. How, then, can I be so in love?

it's weird how love happens--especially when it involves little people. what an incredible photo. just think...we are all that beautiful...sometimes it's just not as easy to recognize it (in each other and ourselves) once we grow up.

Jessie - I am taking that godmother job very seriously! I am going to work very hard to make sure she ALWAYS knows how beautiful and special she is!!

it must be all the light and love around her... it's amazing how they silently (or loudly) just crawl into your heart!

Gorgeous photo! xx

One of the best things, feelings, experiences I know.
It feels like they walk in and sort of steal the heart, taking the breath in the process.
Nothing left to do but be in awe.

Well thank-you to all those people who love the picture... I took it. Its very hard to understand how much in love with a person you can be until you have a little one. That's my little girl in that picture, and I love her more than anything. Meg, it makes me feel so wonderful that you love her that much, it means so so much. Its been more than a week... and she loves you just as much.
Your brother....

Oh Meg,
What a lovely pic! The little people just sneak up on you and then you are so in love for the rest of your life. It starts very early and I pray that it never ends. Love you, Sue
